Contractor: SYSCOMAX • Architect: Danny LANGEVIN | Structural Engineer – LAINCO
A 63,000 sq. ft. soccer complex in the heart of Granby.
Location: GRANBY • Completion date: 2011
LAINCO was mandated by the contractor for the design-build of the steel structure of the ARTOPEX sports complex in Granby.
This 63,000 sq. ft. complex was designed primarily for soccer and other turf sports. It includes two 95′ x 180′ soccer fields, as well as enclosed spaces on two floors for administrative offices. The building also houses a café-bistro and locker rooms.
We worked on this project wanting to bring a sense of space and a better experience. For this, we used the arched version of our HighRidge Systems™ metal roofing concept. Thus, large sections of roof could be assembled on the ground before being erected, which helped speed up the work while reducing the risk of accidents.
The entire LAINCO team is at your disposal to help your construction project take shape. Tell us about your project, we’ll take care of the rest!
