TD PLACE STADIUM – LANSDOWNE PARK

Contractor: POMERLEAU • Architect: CANNON DESIGN | Structural Engineer – HALSALL / Lainco

Renovation of the TD Place Stadium in Lansdowne Park which increased the capacity to 24,000 people.

Location: OTTAWA • Completion date: 2014

OTTAWA SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT GROUP hired several professionals to renovate the TD Place Stadium at Lansdowne Park. Lainco is proud to have participated in this modernization project.

Our role in this project was to design and supply the required reinforcements in the existing and new roofs on the north side of the structure. We also supplied and installed a set of ramps and metalwork.

This joint project increased the stadium’s capacity to 24,000 spectators. The new south structure now houses 24 private boxes, restaurant counters, locker rooms, administrative offices for the Redblacks and USL Fury teams, and a media room.

Lainco supplied and installed the ramps, access gates, fabricated metals, and all structural steelwork for this new side of the stadium.
