LAINCO has created its own concept of metal roofing adapted to long-span constructions of more than 150 feet (45m). An innovative, aesthetically pleasing structure that allows for greater clearance and an unparalleled feeling of roominess.

We developed this concept of metal roofing following a need communicated during the construction of an athletic centre. Our client felt that conventional construction gave a sense of wasted space where the roof structure took on too much visual importance. Our team has developed a metal roofing concept that meets this recurring need of users and owners of athletic centres.

After being proposed for an initial project, HighRidge Systems™ has been successfully used in the design of several athletic centres. The concept is particularly popular, and we now use it on various categories of large-span buildings.

LAINCO outperforms many types of prefabricated buildings. Our concept allows for the use of insulated metal panel cladding on the exterior of the structure, thus eliminating thermal bridges.

This provides greater architectural flexibility in the choice of finish and color.

Our exterior perimeter columns are small and help to reduce the impact on the overall dimensions of the building.

Our concept avoids the arching effects that often complicate the construction of foundations, avoiding the use of tie tendons or inclined piles.

The Lainco™ roofing concept allows for more roofing flexibility through the use of TPO, PVC or EPDM membranes. These more common types of coatings facilitate future repairs and replacements while offering varying thicknesses of insulation.

Buildings designed with HighRidge Systems™ allow for the evacuation of rainwater with exterior gutters or roof drains connected to an interior pipe system. This allows better management of the collected water.
